Last night I had the chance, along with W. Kamau Bell, to be a guest on one of my favorite comedy podcasts on the interverse, Comedy and Everything Else, hosted by Jimmy Dore and Stef Zamorano! So much fun. The episode is now live and on iTunes, so you can listen to me and Kamau talk about Dr. Laura, racism, why I shouldn’t try weed for the first time in a pot brownie, and a ton of other stuff, RIGHT HERE…

So, Margaret Cho is releasing her new comedy/music album, Cho Dependent this month, and with that comes the premiere of her music video for the song I’m Sorry, featuring Andrew Bird and directed by Liam Sullivan. This is the video for the song, and guess who makes a very tragic cameo…
Cho Dependent also features collaborations between Margaret Fiona Apple, Brendan Benson, Ben Lee, Tegan and Sara, Tommy Chong, Jon Brion, Garrison Starr, Grant Lee Phillips, Ani DiFranco, and Rachael Yamagata, and you can PRE-ORDER IT RIGHT HERE!

I’m super-excited about this! I’ve been invited to perform and screen my comedy short film, Black Guys on a Beautiful Day, at the HollyShorts Film Festival THIS WEDNESDAY, August 11th!
So, those of you in the Los Angeles area, come check out me and fellow comedians Kevin Shea & Cody Copp, and see some really great short films being shown at the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theater (8000 W. Sunset Blvd LA, CA 90046) at 8pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or online.
